Finding paragraph #1
I found out that George Hancock invented softball in the late 1880's. He used an old boxing glove for the ball by tying the laces together and used a broken broom for the bat. The first softball game was Yale alumni vs. Havard alumni. Yale won 44-40. It started when a Yale alumnus threw an old boxing glove at a Havard supporter and he hit it with a broken broom stick.
